Dr. Juliana Fernandes

She is a published scholar whose research interests include affective impact of advertising, international political communication, and social media and online communication. Her most recent study looks at the effects of negative political advertising and message repetition on candidate evaluation. Fernandes’ work has been published in a number of academic journals, including Mass Communication and Society, the American Journal of Media Psychology and American Behavioral Scientist.
