Dr. Susan Kaufman Purcell is the Director of the Center for Hemispheric Policy at the University of Miami. Dr. Purcell is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Women’s Forum. She has been an International Affairs Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, a Visiting Fellow at the Overseas Development Council, and a Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.

Ph.D.,  Project Director of geography and regional studies, specializes in the geopolitics of the Middle Eastern region. He also serves as director of the Jewish Demography Project at the Sue and Leonard Miller Center for Contemporary Judaic Studies.
