Dr. Susan Kaufman Purcell is the Director of the Center for Hemispheric Policy at the University of Miami. Dr. Purcell is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Women’s Forum. She has been an International Affairs Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, a Visiting Fellow at the Overseas Development Council, and a Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.

Alex de Carvalho is an adjunct professor at the University of Miami and the founder of StartPR, an online tracking service for reputation management, blogger relations, and brand monitoring. Professor Amanullah De Sondy earned his Ph.D. in theology and religious studies at the University of Glasgow (Scotland), with a focus on Islamic Studies. Aman has taught Islamic Studies at the University of Glasgow, University of Strathclyde and the University of Stirling in Scotland and at Ithaca College, New York in the USA before joining the University of Miami.
